How can I be sustainable in my daily life?

Did you know that the simple gestures we can make is a great start to make our planet more sustainable?

If you are thinking of becoming a sustainable person, you will need to follow our tips. But relax. They are very simple and, of course, you will have opportunities to accomplish them all. Look how nice it is?!

  • First Tip: Reduce Water Consumption!

For those who do not know, reducing is very important. Then, turn off the faucets when they are not being used. Turn off the shower to foam the body.

Make sure the plumbing is not broken, so you will avoid dripping and leaking. Reuse laundry water to wash the yard. Collect rainwater to water the plants.

And, if you're that kind of person who sings and thinks about life under the shower, leave that moment for another time, okay? During the bath, pay attention to what you are doing and do it as fast as possible!

  •          Second Tip: Respect and do not pollute our world!

Give preference to organic products, which are healthy and do not attack the soil with pesticides. Consume less transgenic foods; Genetically modified food results in an evil for the environment and also for our health. Examples of transgenic foods are prefabricated pastas, snacks and other corn foods (corn flour, oil, polenta).

Avoid plastic bags and the use of chemicals in household cleaning; Choose biodegradable cleaning products that decompose in nature.

  •          Third Tip: Do not contribute to the extinction of the fauna and the flora!

Do not buy wild animals, that's an illegal trade and it contributes to the extinction of many species!

Plant trees.

Try to stop consuming food or buying products derived from endangered species.

  •          Fourth Tip: Save energy!

Saving energy is good for you ... Good for nature!

Then unplug appliances after use and do not leave televisions, lights, or radios connected if no one is using them!

Try to buy LED bulbs. Although they are more expensive, they spend far less energy than others!

Enjoy the sunlight and open the doors and windows; It is more enjoyable and does well for your health!

  •          Fifth Tip: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!

Reduce the consumption of packaged products and choose products with returnable packaging, not forgetting to use tissue bags.

Go to the market at least once a week and buy only what you need. That is, for this, you need to list the things that are really necessary!

Separate your garbage for selective collection and try to transform, with your imagination, old things into new ones!

  •          Sixth Tip: Use Sustainable Transportation!

When possible, leave the car in the garage and take a walk, in addition to avoiding the emission of polluting gases, it is good for health.

Prefer cars that use ethanol or electric power and, if possible, use public transport, it's a car less polluting the air we breathe!

Riding friends or hitchhiking can be fun and sustainable, you know?

Cycling, too, spends calories and saves nature!

  •          Seventh Tip: Use rechargeable batteries!

Rechargeable batteries save your money and reduce waste.

  •          Eighth Tip: Never, never, under any circumstances, throw trash on the street!

  •         Ninth Tip: Think a thousand times before you buy something!

Stop buying things on impulse, even if they are on a "super promotion". When you see an "opportunity" of these, take a deep breath, take a walk and reflect if you really need it, or if it will be another unused and accumulated object in your home.

  •         Tenth Tip: Protect our environment!

We are responsible for where we live and we must work and care to keep it healthy. Denounce practices that attack the environment!
